Ingredients · Servings 4
  • 130 g Butter
  • 1 Piece No
  • 300 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 tsp ground caraway seeds
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar
  • 1 Pack Strudel Dough
  • 800 g white cabbage
Method · 1 h
  1. Halve the cabbage head, quarter it, remove the core, and finely shred the cabbage. Salt the cabbage and let it stand for half an hour, then squeeze out the liquid.
  2. Now, brown the powdered sugar with 1 tablespoon of butter, add the cabbage, sprinkle with pepper, and fry with the ground meat until nicely browned (stirring frequently). Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) convection and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Roll out the strudel dough, brush it with melted fat, and spread the cabbage on top. Sprinkle with caraway seeds, roll up the strudel, and place it on a baking sheet.
  4. Finally, brush the strudel with butter and beaten egg and bake for 30-40 minutes until crispy and brown.
