Recipe for a tasty and easy rabbit stew

Ingredients · Servings 4
  • 1 beautiful rabbit
  • 250g of smoked bacon
  • 300g of button mushrooms
  • 1/2 liter of 11° red wine
  • a little flour
  • 1 chicken stock cube
  • 2 large onions
  • 1/2 glass of oil
  • cell

  • 1 bay leaf and 1 sprig of thyme
  • 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
Method · 50 min
  1. Fry the chopped rabbit with the peeled and quartered onions in a little oil.
  2. When it starts to brown, add the bacon, then the flour, cook for a few minutes, then add the wine, vinegar, spices and mushrooms.
  3. Cook for 40 minutes, checking if the sauce is too thin, add 1 glass of water or 1 glass of wine.
