Here come the Daddies

Here come the Daddies

The reopening timetable wasn’t the news that everyone in hospitality hoped for. But at least we have a date to work towards and can start to plan our return to restaurants.

“The industry has been through hell over the last year and we are so grateful to our fans for enabling us to stay strong as a business bringing much needed energy to all our teams and collaborators”

Opening at the start of March, Wing Daddies is a new pop-up sister brand focused on – you guessed it – chicken wings. Initially launching in Kentish Town as a delivery-only brand, the team will pop up across the capital in the coming months. Plus, plans to open a bricks-and-mortar site are already underway. There are Korean fried wings, sticky teriyaki and buffalo fire on offer, as well as a selection of that US import, loaded tater tots.

Not stopping there, Bone Daddies Putney has just opened on the former Byron site on Putney High Street. Initially open as a delivery-only kitchen, the site will mark the seventh Bone Daddies in the capital – as well as a further six dark kitchens. To celebrate, customers can get 25% of all orders until 7 March.

“The industry has been through hell over the last year and we are so grateful to our fans for enabling us to stay strong as a business bringing much needed energy to all our teams and collaborators” says operations director Steve Hill. “When we are greeted with such mixed headlines everyday it’s great to be able to talk about things that are positive to a change.” We agree, and hope that the positive news keeps on coming.
