Soft Serve Crowned With a Halo of Cotton Candy Will Soon Arrive in Dallas

Get ready for DFW Instagram feeds to be taken over by Aqua S, an Australian ice cream chain that’s officially announced plans to bring its over-the-top treats to Dallas.

A post to the chain’s Facebook page indicates that it’s got plans for a new location in Dallas, and per CultureMap, it’s headed to a space in Victory Park. Originating in Sydney, Aqua S currently operates one Texas outpost in Houston, where it quickly became a social media favorite thanks to its constantly rotating cast of innovative flavors and Instagram-worthy presentation.

As with other super-trendy ice cream shops that have opened across the country in the past couple of years, Aqua S is known for its vividly colored soft-serve ice cream, made in flavors like pink lemonade, rose milk tea, strawberry cheesecake, and the chain’s famed “sea salt” flavor. The dramatic ice cream creations are swirled into charcoal-black ice cream cones, garnished with everything from toasted marshmallows and caramel popcorn to Pop Rocks, and served shrouded in a halo of fluffy “fairy floss,” or cotton candy.

Stay tuned for more details on when Aqua S will make its Dallas debut.
