Pork with pineapple and potatoes in the oven

Pork with pineapple and potatoes in the oven

Oven-baked pork with pineapple and potatoes is a very simple dish, yet it's perfect for a holiday table! I love dishes that combine meat and fruit, and in this case, the pineapple really enhances the pork's flavor with its sweetness and aroma.

Another important factor is that the dish is easy to prepare, and does not require much time or effort from the cook, and the result will definitely please everyone.

To cook pork with pineapple and potatoes in the oven, prepare all the ingredients on the list at once.

Cut the pork into thin slices. Beat the meat on both sides with a meat mallet.

Salt and pepper the meat, you can sprinkle it with meat seasoning.

Grease the inside of a baking sheet or dish with vegetable oil. Arrange the meat pieces in a single layer.

Peel the onion and cut into rings or half rings, as you like.

Spread the chopped onion over the surface of the meat.

Wash the tomatoes and cut them into thin slices.

Place the sliced tomato slices overlapping each other.

Drain the liquid from the pineapples and place them on top of the tomatoes.

Grease the pineapple layer with mayonnaise; you can simply make a mayonnaise mesh.

Grate the hard cheese on a medium grater. Cover the pineapples with the cheese.

Peel and dice the potatoes, arrange them around the edges of the pan, and season with salt and pepper. Cover the top of the pan with foil. Bake the pork, pineapple, and potatoes in the oven at 180 degrees C for 40 minutes.

Then we take the pan out of the oven, remove the foil and put the dish in the oven for another 10 minutes under the grill to get a golden brown cheese crust.

Pork with pineapple and potatoes is ready. It's both a main meat dish and a side dish, isn't it great?

Serve the pork in individual portions. Beautiful, filling, and juicy! Enjoy!
