Bresaola bites

Bresaola bites

The care that goes into "packaging" this morsel shouldn't be underestimated. The same goes for the gentle stirring of the cottage cheese as it delicately and gracefully absorbs the extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, and then the lemon zest, the pinch of salt, and the pink peppercorns.

Ingredients · Servings 4
  • 250 g Bresaola
  • 300 g cottage cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • Lemon zest to taste
  • qb Mixed salad (misticanza)
  • qb Extra virgin olive oil
  • q.b. Sale
  • qb Pink peppercorns
Method · 10 min
  1. In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese with a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, a teaspoon of lemon juice, a pinch of grated lemon zest, less than a pinch of salt, and the pink peppercorns. Mix gently.
  2. Arrange the bresaola slices on a serving plate and top each with a teaspoon of the previously prepared mixture and a sprig of mixed salad.
  3. Roll up the bresaola slices and drizzle with a little extra virgin olive oil.

A very tasty variation could include adding 100 grams of low-fat Greek yogurt and a bunch of chopped chives to the cottage cheese.
