Chicken rascal

Juicy chicken is marinated in a simple marinade of beer, mustard, soy sauce and salt. The aging process gives the meat a distinct flavor and, after frying, it remains beautifully tender and soft inside.

Ingredients · Servings 4
  • 500 g chicken meat
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 ml beer
  • 3 tablespoons plain flour
  • 2 tablespoons of solamyl
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • ground black pepper
  • salt (to taste)
  • frying oil
Method · 35 min
  1. Beat the eggs in a bowl and add the beer, plain flour, salt, soy sauce, mustard and pepper. Add salt to taste and mix everything thoroughly.
  2. Clean the chicken and cut it into smaller pieces.
  3. Place the meat in the prepared marinade, mix and leave to marinate for at least 3 hours. You can also leave it overnight.
  4. Heat the oil in a larger pan.
  5. Spoon the meat mixture (including the marinade), place it in the hot oil and fry these small cutlets until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Let the finished meat drain briefly on paper towels and serve it best with mashed potatoes and a vegetable garnish.
