Airfryer Chicken Cutlets

Airfryer Chicken Cutlets

These chicken cutlets are the perfect weeknight dinner: golden brown, juicy meat, and just 15 minutes to cook! High in protein, low in oil, and gluten-free, this dish is perfect for those watching their diet.

Ingredients · Servings 2
  • Chicken breast
  • Tomato
  • Semi-hard cheese
  • Chicken egg
  • Wheat flour
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Refined vegetable oil
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
Method · 30 min
  1. Cut the chicken breast into two slices, each about 2 cm thick. Place each slice between two layers of plastic wrap and pound with a mallet until the meat is evenly 7-8 mm thick. Be careful not to tear the meat.
  2. Season the chops with salt and pepper and let them rest for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare three bowls: add flour to one, beat an egg in a second, and add breadcrumbs to a third. Slice the tomato into thin slices and the cheese into slices equal to the number of chops.
  3. Dredge each cutlet first in flour, then in egg, and then generously coat with breadcrumbs. Press the breadcrumbs lightly with the palm of your hand. Place 2-3 tomato slices on top of the cutlet and top with a slice of cheese.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 190°C. Lightly grease the bottom rack with vegetable oil or line it with parchment paper. Place the chops, cheese-side up. Cook for 18-20 minutes on the middle rack until the breading is golden brown, the cheese is melted, and a slight crust forms.

Making strips is very easy and healthy. They're cooked using hot air, resulting in a crispy outside and tender inside. No oil is used, making them not only delicious but also healthy.

The air fryer is no longer just a dinner-only appliance. More and more home cooks are using it in the morning to quickly prepare breakfast without excess oil, time spent standing over the stove, or a mountain of dirty dishes. We've compiled the best air fryer breakfast ideas: from fried eggs and syrniki to cottage cheese pizza, along with helpful tips to help you cook your dishes right the first time and avoid overcooking them.

How to cook in an air fryer so that meat and fish stay juicy, vegetables turn out crisp, and baked goods don't burn? This compact appliance works differently than a conventional oven: hot air circulates rapidly within the chamber, so food cooks faster and requires a different temperature. We'll explain what you can cook in an air fryer, what temperature and cooking time to choose for different foods, whether you need to add oil, and the most common mistakes beginners make. Finally, we'll share three simple recipes to help you get started with your air fryer.

Grilled chicken in an air fryer turns out delicious and less greasy than frying it in a pan or baking it on a baking sheet in the oven. Why is that? Because the special design of this appliance means no oil is required. The chicken's own fat simply drips off. But the skin develops a golden brown crust that's simply irresistible! And if you marinate the chicken beforehand, as suggested in our recipe, it turns out incredibly flavorful and delicious.
