Steel cut oats with fried banana

1 dlSteel Cut Oats, (havrekross)

Ingredients · Servings 0
  • Steel Cut Oats
  • standard milk
  • water
  • salt
  • banana
  • coconut oil
  • honey
  • cinnamon
Method · 15 min
  1. Mix the steel cut oats with milk, water and a little salt in a saucepan. Bring to the boil and simmer, stirring, for 6–8 minutes.
  2. Cut the banana in half and fry it over medium heat in coconut oil, honey and a little salt. Fry for about 2 minutes on each side until caramelized.
  3. Serve the porridge in a bowl and top with fried banana, cinnamon, hazelnuts, hemp seeds, almond butter and a little honey.
  • 1.5 dl standard milk
  • 1.5 dl water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pc banana
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 mskhonung
  • cinnamon, or nuts, hemp seeds, almond butter, etc., for topping

Do this:
