Yogurt cake recipe for children

This yogurt cake is a simple and moist pastry made with plain yogurt, used as a measuring cup for the flour, sugar, oil, and eggs, all mixed with baking powder and vanilla sugar. The smooth batter is poured into a greased pan and baked for 35 minutes.

Ingredients · Servings 4
  • 1 pot of plain yogurt (keep it for the following measurements)
  • 2 pots of flour
  • 2 jars of sugar
  • 1/2 jar of oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 packet of baking powder
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
Method · 40 min
  1. Pour your plain yogurt into a bowl. Then clean your yogurt pot, as it will now be used as a measuring cup.
  2. Next, add the remaining ingredients using your yogurt container as a measuring cup: - 2 containers of flour - 2 containers of sugar - 1 container of oil - 3 eggs - 1 packet of baking powder - 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  3. At this stage you can preheat your oven: thermostat 6-7 (180 - 200°).
  4. Mix everything together using a whisk to obtain a smooth paste.
  5. Butter your cake tin and then pour in your batter.
  6. Place your dish in the oven. Cooking time: 35 minutes
  7. Once the 35 minutes of baking time are up, remove your dish. There you go, your yogurt cake is ready! Enjoy!:)
