Ingredients for butterless coffee cake

  • 400 g of
  • 00 flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 g of sugar
  • 160 ml of sunflower seed oil
  • 160 ml of espresso coffee
  • 1 sachet of baking powder

How to make coffee cake without butter

Start by preheating the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and prepare a pan (preferably 24 cm) by lining it with parchment paper or lightly buttering it and dusting it with flour to prevent the cake from sticking. Then, using a moka pot or espresso machine, prepare the coffee and let it cool while you proceed with the rest of the preparation.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth it out with a spatula. Bake the cake at 180°C (350°F) for about 30 minutes. Before removing it from the oven, test with a toothpick: if it comes out clean, the cake is done! Let the cake cool for a few minutes in the pan, then transfer it to a wire rack to finish cooling. Your wonderful butter-free coffee cake is ready. Enjoy!
