Easy chicken pie recipe

This blender chicken pie recipe is delicious and very practical for everyday meals. It's also perfect for taking to a family June festival. No wonder it's one of our most popular recipes. Because it's made in a blender, the batter is liquid and the assembly is different from a traditional chicken pie.

Ingredients · Servings 15
  • 500g of skinless chicken breast
  • 1/2 liter of chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 clove of crushed garlic
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 tomatoes, peeled and seeded
  • 1 cup of peas
  • Salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 250 ml of milk
  • 3/4 cup of oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of wheat flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • grated cheese to taste
Method · 40 min
  1. Cook the chicken breast in the broth until tender.
  2. Set aside 1 cup of broth from the cooking process and reserve it.
  3. Sauté the remaining ingredients and add the peas last.
  4. Shred the chicken, mix it with the broth, and let it cook until the liquid evaporates.
  5. Blend the milk, oil, and eggs in a blender on low speed.
  6. Gradually add the flour, salt, and yeast.
  7. Pour half of the batter into a greased pan and add the filling on top.
  8. Cover with the remaining dough and grated cheese.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven (180°C) until golden brown.
