Chicken china

Chicken china

Chicken china is a classic that you can never go wrong with. Chicken, vegetables, mushrooms and spices make the perfect combination. The recipe is simple and quick, so even beginners can make it. We usually serve it with rice, but it tastes great with noodles too.

Ingredients · Servings 3
  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 can of corn
  • 1 small can of sterilized mushrooms
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon of Chinese seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ground pepper
  • salt
  • chili (to taste)
  • 1 heaping tablespoon potato starch (Solamyl)
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • olive oil
Method · 35 min
  1. Cut the washed and cleaned meat into strips and place in a bowl. Add the Chinese seasoning, pepper, ginger and sprinkle with starch. Mix everything thoroughly to coat the meat.
  2. Peel the onion, clean the pepper and cut everything into strips.
  3. Heat the oil in a deep frying pan and fry the chicken until browned on all sides. When the meat is browned on all sides, add the chopped vegetables, mushrooms (without brine) and corn.
  4. Pour in 3 tablespoons of soy sauce and 2 tablespoons of water. Add the curry and crushed garlic, stir and let the vegetables soften for about 10-15 minutes.
  5. You can season with salt or chili. Add soy sauce to taste, and use vegetables as you like.
  6. Best served with rice.
