Gypsy schnitzel

Gypsy schnitzel

Gypsy schnitzels are not schnitzels in the true sense of the word. Let's try to forget about the classic slice of meat wrapped in a three-layered bun. This time we will try chicken noodles with onions in a spicy batter. The result is delicious patties for a quick lunch or dinner.

Ingredients · Servings 4
  • 400 g chicken meat
  • 4 eggs
  • 3-4 medium onions
  • 4 tablespoons potato flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • frying oil
  • Attachment:
  • new potatoes
  • butter
  • chive
  • fresh vegetables
Method · 50 min
  1. Cut the chicken into strips and place in a bowl.
  2. Add all the listed ingredients and the onion cut into half rings. Mix everything well.
  3. Meanwhile, let's cook the new potatoes.
  4. Place spoonfuls of the prepared chicken mixture on a hot Teflon pan with oil. Spread them into small cutlets and fry.
  5. Serve with buttered new potatoes, topped with fresh vegetables. Sprinkle with fresh chives.
