Cake filled with nuts

Cake filled with nuts

Do you have plenty of nuts and are wondering how to use them? Bake a cake, the queen of Sunday afternoons, full of walnuts. Thanks to them, the cake is soft and fluffy. If you don't eat it right away, it will stay soft until the next day.

Ingredients · Servings 1 where
  • 250 g semi-coarse flour
  • 250 g sugar
  • 200 g ground nuts
  • 200 ml milk (or as needed)
  • 180 g butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 baking powder
  • grease for removing molds
  • nuts for pouring out the mold
Method · 1 h
  1. Beat the softened butter, egg yolks and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add the flour, baking powder and nuts.
  2. Beat the egg whites until stiff and add to the finished dough. Finally, add milk (depending on the thickness, the dough should be soft).
  3. Grease the mold, sprinkle with ground nuts and pour all the dough in. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 45 minutes. Test with a skewer to see if it is done.
