Correos (the Spanish postal service) has dedicated a stamp to cod in pil-pil sauce, as part of its "Gastronomy, Spain in 19 Dishes" series. This philatelic series features a dish from each of Spain's 17 Autonomous Communities, as well as Ceuta and Melilla.

La Carboná wins Wine Tourism Award from the Wine Routes of Spain. The restaurant in Jerez de la Frontera has received the award for best gastronomic offering at the 6th edition of the Wine Tourism Awards of the Wine Routes of Spain. The jury stated that this award was given for “having an authentic and high-quality gastronomic offering that integrates and promotes local products, Jerez wines, and gastronomic culture, carrying out activities to revitalize and promote wine and food culture.”

Leandro Gil, chef of the Alma Pamplona hotel, has received the Best Chef of Navarre Award from the Navarre Academy of Gastronomy. The Award for Most Outstanding Work went to the Vegetable Festivals of Tudela and the Ribera region of Navarre. “It is a great honor to receive this award, which recognizes our commitment to Navarrese produce and producers, and it comes from my hometown of Tudela, which makes it especially meaningful. This recognition is also a great source of satisfaction for the entire team. We are working on a concept that goes beyond traditional gastronomy, using local produce, lesser-known ingredients, and focusing on vegetables, one of the great strengths of Navarrese gastronomy and culture,” says Leandro Gil.
