A classy cocktail: How to mix an Amaretto Sour

cl cl Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

Ingredients · Servings 2
  • ice cubes
  • 6 cl Amaretto
  • 6 cl Bourbon-Whiskey
  • 6 cl lemon juice
  • 2 cl Zuckersirup
  • 1 egg white
  • some organic lemon zest
Method · 10 min
  1. Fill two tumbler glasses with ice cubes. Add amaretto, bourbon, lemon juice, sugar syrup, and egg white to a shaker and shake vigorously for about 10 seconds without ice.
  2. Add 5-6 ice cubes and shake vigorously for another 10 seconds. Pour the cocktail through a fine sieve into glasses, garnish with lemon zest if desired, and serve.

Tip: If you don't want to use egg white, you can substitute 1 tablespoon of aquafaba. This is vegan, thick cooking or draining liquid from white beans or chickpeas.
