  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar (250 ml)
  • 1 and 1/2 cups cake flour
  • 1/2 cup of potato flour
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 3/4 cup of vegetable oil
  • lemon

  1. This Easter cake made with vegetable oil is a recipe that should be started by taking the ingredients out of the fridge. All ingredients should be at room temperature.
  2. Sift the flour into a bowl, add the potato starch and baking powder. Then, mix the ingredients for the Easter babka thoroughly.
  3. Wash the lemon and blanch it in hot water. Grate the lemon peel using a fine-holed grater.
  4. Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them with the sugar until fluffy. Add the vegetable oil and lemon zest to the beaten egg mixture. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Mix the cake batter with a wooden spoon until just combined.
  6. Grease a bundt pan with butter and dust with flour, breadcrumbs, or coconut flakes. Pour the batter into the pan.
