Peasant casserole
Hello everyone. Today I have another delicious and quick-to-prepare casserole for you. It's a peasant casserole made with just a few ingredients. Delicious and easy to prepare. I'll share the exact recipe soon. In the meantime, I wish you a pleasant weekend. Best regards.
Ingredients
- about 8 potatoes
- 2 sticks of sausage, e.g. Podwawelska
- 2 onions
- Sos:
- 1 small cream 18%
- 1 egg
- about 15 dkg of yellow cheese
- salt, pepper, nutmeg
I cut the potatoes into circles and the onion into thin strips. I cut the potatoes into slices. I boil the potatoes in salted water for a few minutes. Be careful not to overcook them, as they will fall apart in the casserole. Sauté the sausage and onion in oil for a few minutes.
Prepare the sauce. Place the cream, egg, and coarsely grated yellow cheese in a bowl. Mix thoroughly and season.
Place all the ingredients in a baking dish. Start with half the potatoes (you can season them further), the sausage, and the sauce. Then add the remaining ingredients. Pour the sauce over everything.
Bake the prepared casserole in an oven preheated to 220 degrees for about 20 minutes.
