Baked rice with apples

Baked rice with apples

2 cups of rice

about 4 glasses of water

2 eggs

200ml sweet cream

3 tablespoons of butter

1.5 kg of apples

a teaspoon of cinnamon

3 tablespoons of sugar

Add 1 tablespoon of butter to a pot, add the rice, and sauté briefly. Then add water, salt, and simmer over low heat for about 15-20 minutes, until the rice absorbs all the water. Wait for the rice to cool slightly, then add the beaten eggs and mix. Wash the apples thoroughly, peel them, and grate them on a coarse grater. Add cinnamon and sugar to the apples and mix. Grease an ovenproof dish with 1 tablespoon of butter, place a layer of rice on the bottom, then half the apples, and cover the apples with another layer of rice, then another layer of rice and apples. Top with a final layer of rice, smooth the surface evenly, and drizzle with cream. Top with shaved butter. Cover the dish and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (350°F) for about 45 minutes. Serve warm or cold. Enjoy!
