Marinade for meat for grilling or frying

Marinade for meat for grilling or frying

We prepare a fragrant marinade from beer, ketchup, chili sauce and herbs. Thanks to the longer marinating, the meat will remain beautifully juicy and will gain a distinctive flavor after grilling. The marinade is great for chicken and pork.

Ingredients · Servings 1 dose
  • 2 kg chicken (or pork)
  • 200 ml of light beer (light 11°)
  • 50 ml of oil
  • 5 tablespoons sweet ketchup
  • 4 tablespoons chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons barbecue seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried garlic
Method · 55 min
  1. In a larger, sealable bowl, mix the light beer, oil, sweet ketchup, chili sauce, grilling spices, ground pepper, dried thyme, fresh thyme, and dried garlic.
  2. Place the cleaned and dried meat into the prepared marinade and coat it thoroughly.
  3. Close the bowl and leave the meat to marinate in the refrigerator, preferably for 24 hours.
  4. Place the marinated meat on the prepared grill and grill it until tender, about 20 minutes on each side.
  5. If we don't have the option of grilling, we can fry the meat in a pan with a little oil.
