Fake chicken soup

Fake chicken soup

Poultry soup is pleasantly warming and strengthening. Just sauté the carrots in butter, pour over the broth, and finally add noodles or drippings to make the soup sufficiently filling. Serve the soup garnished with parsley.

Ingredients · Servings 1
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 small carrot
  • 1.5 l chicken stock
  • parsley leaves
  • salt
  • ground pepper
  • soup noodles (or drippings)
  • Dripping:
  • 2 tablespoons plain flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon milk
Method · 30 min
  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and grate a small carrot over it. Sauté for a while so that the carrot changes color. Then pour in the broth. Simmer for a while, season to taste.
  2. Meanwhile, cook the soup noodles. After cooking, drain them, rinse with cold water and let them drain.
  3. Instead of noodles, you can prepare drippings, which you can cook directly into the soup at the end. We make it from plain flour, eggs, a pinch of salt and a tablespoon of milk, which we beat into a smooth batter. We press it into the soup using a fork or a coarse grater.
  4. Place the noodles on a plate and pour over the soup.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley.
