Bacon-wrapped chicken breast
Ingredients · Servings 4
- 2 pcs Chicken breast
- 20 dkg Bacon
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Ground pepper
- Only
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
Method · 40 min
- To make the bacon-wrapped chicken breast, clean the chicken breast fillets and cut them into thicker strips, about 3-4 cm wide. Lightly salt the chicken strips and sprinkle with paprika, garlic powder and freshly ground pepper.
- Wrap each chicken strip tightly with a slice of bacon. Secure the end of the bacon with a toothpick if necessary.
- Heat a large, oven-safe pan. Pour a little olive oil into it and place the bacon-wrapped chicken pieces, seam side down, in the pan.
- Fry over medium heat until crispy and golden brown on all sides. This will take about 2-3 minutes per side. You don't need to cook the chicken completely, it will be done in the oven.
- Place the pan in an oven preheated to 180°C and bake for approximately 12-15 minutes. The exact baking time depends on the thickness of the chicken strips.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes, then serve.
