Mini sandwiches with spread

Mini sandwiches with spread

Mini sandwiches with spread are a simple idea for a small treat or snack. Two cheese spreads alternate between slices of dark bread - a delicate chive spread and a more pronounced pepper spread with melted cheese and spicy ketchup.

Ingredients · Servings 1 dose
  • 300 g soft cottage cheese
  • 1/2 bunch of chives
  • 50 g of processed cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon hot ketchup
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground sweet paprika
  • 6 slices of dark bread
  • 6 cherry tomatoes
  • salt
  • ground pepper
Method · 20 min
  1. Let the butter soften. Rinse, dry and finely chop the chives. Wash, dry and halve the cherry tomatoes.
  2. Divide the cottage cheese evenly into two bowls. Add the softened butter and chives to the first, season with salt and pepper, and mix thoroughly.
  3. Add the processed cheese, hot ketchup and ground sweet paprika to the second half of the cottage cheese. Mix everything until smooth.
  4. Spread two slices of bread with the chive spread and top with another slice of bread. Spread these with the pepper spread and top with the remaining two slices.
  5. Press both sandwiches lightly and cut each into 6 equal pieces. Garnish the mini sandwiches with cherry tomato halves and serve.
