Easy Halloween punch: the alcohol-free recipe for the whole family
Ingredients · Servings 4
- 1 liter of sparkling water
- 35 cl Blueberry Juice
- 25 cl Cranberry juice
- 2 Citron vert
- 100 Frozen Blueberries
- 1 Lychees in syrup
Method · 10 min
- Carefully drain the lychees in syrup over a bowl to collect their juice, which you will use later to adjust the sweetness of the punch. Next, take the frozen blueberries and place one in the hollow of each lychee, where the pit was, to create a very realistic eye effect. Arrange these stuffed lychees on a plate or platter, then place them in the freezer while you prepare the drink. This step ensures a chilled decoration, which will also help keep the punch cold when serving.
- Pour the blueberry and cranberry juices into a large bowl or pitcher. Squeeze the limes and add their juice to the mixture, making sure to remove any seeds. Stir in at least 5 tablespoons of the reserved lychee syrup, then taste the mixture. If you prefer a sweeter drink, add a little more syrup to taste. Mix well with a large spoon until you have a smooth, fruity, and fragrant base.
- Place the bowl or pitcher containing the juice mixture in the refrigerator for 1 hour. This resting time allows the flavors to meld and the punch to become very cold, which is essential for a pleasant party drink. During this time, also leave the lychees stuffed with blueberries in the freezer. If you are preparing the recipe in advance, you can also prepare the serving glasses for quick and easy assembly at the last minute.
- Remove the punch base from the refrigerator just before serving, then pour the ice-cold sparkling water into the mixture. Stir gently with a spoon to avoid breaking the bubbles and to maintain a pleasant effervescence. It's important to add the sparkling water at the last minute so the drink remains lively, light, and festive. The result is a non-alcoholic punch that is fruity, refreshing, and visually appealing.
- Pour the punch into a large serving bowl or directly into glasses. Then add the lychees topped with blueberries, which will float like little eyeballs to create the desired Halloween effect. You can place several in the bowl or slip one or two into each glass, depending on the presentation you prefer. Serve immediately to enjoy the fizz of the drink and the spectacular look of this alcohol-free recipe, perfect for the whole family.
