Dracula Burger for Halloween: the scary burger to devour
Ingredients · Servings 4
- 4 Small burger buns
- 4 Steak haché
- 8 tranches Cheddar
- 1 sachet Lettuce leaves
- 1 Carrot
- 4 Pickles
- 4 g. Peppercorns
- 0.1 l Ketchup
- Cell
- Pepper
Method · 30 min
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, then add the ground beef patties. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then cook for a few minutes on each side until well seared and still moist. This cooking method gives the burger a generous and flavorful base. While the meat is cooking, you can prepare the garnishes to save time.
- Peel the carrot, then slice off two thin rounds to create Dracula's ears or little horns. Next, cut eight small, even points from these slices or the remaining carrot for a neat and fun decoration. Cut the gherkins into fairly thick slices, then place a peppercorn in the center of each slice to form expressive and frightening eyes.
- Lay the 8 slices of cheddar cheese flat on top of each other to make them easier to work with and ensure even shapes. Using a knife, cut the edges into tight triangles to create large, sharp teeth. The cheese will form the monster's mouth. Make sure the teeth are long enough so they protrude noticeably from the burger when you assemble it.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F), then slice the burger buns in half. Place them in the oven for a few minutes to lightly toast them, about 5 minutes, until warm and just slightly crisp. Make small, delicate slits in the top halves of the buns to insert the pickle slices and carrot pieces without breaking the bun.
- Spread a layer of ketchup on the bottom half of each warm bun. Place a ground beef patty on each bun, then adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Top with the cheddar cheese slices, cut into bite-sized pieces, letting them extend slightly beyond the edges. Add a little more ketchup on top to create a playful, bloody mouth effect.
- Arrange a few lettuce leaves on each burger to add volume, freshness, and a pop of color. Then, insert the pepper-topped pickle slices into the slits on the top bun to form the eyes. Add the carrot tips to create the ears or horns, gently pushing them in so they stay in place.
- Top each burger with its decorated hat, being careful not to move the eyes or horns. Adjust the details slightly if needed to ensure each Dracula looks expressive and appetizing. Serve immediately, while the patties are still hot and the cheddar is melting. Presented this way, these Halloween burgers make a great impression at the table and are sure to please both children and adults.
