Sanremo 2026 at home: what to order in major cities

Sanremo 2026 at home: what to order in major cities

Sanremo Music Festival week (this year running from February 24th to 28th) is when the couch becomes the audience, the remote control transforms into a popular jury, and the kitchen... can remain turned off.

Milan

For those looking for a themed option, Glory POP is celebrating the seventy-sixth Italian Song Festival with five special pizzas (a different one for each evening) inspired by classic Sanremo songs: from Lucio Dalla's Piazza Grande (Wednesday) with a potato cream base, spinach sautéed with garlic and oil, sun-dried tomatoes, olive powder, sesame seeds, parmesan wafers with paprika and chili pepper, to Oro di Mango (Saturday) with fior di latte, datterini tomatoes, friggitelli peppers, and tuna fillets. Choose from two doughs: thin and crispy or more melt-in-the-mouth with a crust. If your Festival evening is all about plant-based fare, Milan has two solid spots: Il Lughino, a 100% plant-based artisanal lab where everything is handmade and the lasagna changes with the seasons, and Giardì, plant-based comfort food without moralizing (burgers, sandwiches, and "foodish" couch potatoes). For those who prefer a convivial, meat-based dinner, Il Mannarino has something for everyone with its sharing Starter Pack, filled with great classics from the butcher's shop and kitchen.

Bologna

Here, the rule is simple: eat well and share. Berberè offers a handcrafted pizza made with live sourdough, also designed for the conviviality of eight slices (so you can sample multiple flavors without arguing over the "best slice"). Plus: sauces can be ordered separately for dipping the crust, which, yes, you can eat. If the evening calls for a substantial bite, Bonelli plays the artisanal fast food card: ultra-fresh meat, grilled in front of you, brioche of the day, homemade sauces, and vegetarian options. For a change of pace, Sicilian offers an elegant blend of Japanese and Sicilian, with sushi and dishes crafted by a kitchen that focuses on select ingredients. And when "pasta and goodnight" is needed, Capra & Cavoli offers classic first courses ready for takeout (and also home delivery), plus second courses, fried dishes, and—for those who prefer—cocktails.

Florence

In the city of the lily, Sanremo's evening revolves around pizza, burgers, and sushi. Don Fefè combines Campania and Tuscany in a menu that spans fish, meat, and cured meats, with Neapolitan pizza taking center stage: tradition and creativity for a complete dinner, also available for takeout. For a more street-friendly and convivial atmosphere, Alex Burger focuses on smash burgers and complete menus with fries and a drink, including classic, gourmet, and vegetarian options. If you're looking for a lighter yet more refined option, Hoseki offers sushi, sashimi, ramen, and tempura, balancing authentic Japanese cuisine with contemporary flavors.

Rome

In the capital, Sanremo can be experienced in a thousand different ways. If you're looking for a grilled dinner, Bottega Roccia in the Tiburtina area is a delicatessen with a pub vibe: sandwiches, freshly cooked cuts, pulled pork, and ribs for a rockin' night. If you're looking to drink (and learn) something different, Enosake is a sake-focused wine bar with a huge selection and izakaya-style cuisine: sushi, sashimi, and hot dishes perfect for pairing with a glass. For a smart and super shareable option, Rotolo reinvents the piadina romagnola with toppings designed with chef friends, ideal for eating with one hand and televoting with the other. And for pizza purists, 180Grammi's, available for takeout and delivery (San Paolo and Centocelle), combines classics, current specials, and fried dishes perfect for the opening of the evening.

Naples

In the Neapolitan capital, when it comes to delivery, the best thing is what arrives well: 10 in Teglia di Vitagliano was created precisely for this reason, with a pizza designed to withstand the journey without losing its character. On the fried side, Vitagliano's iconic specialties stand out, such as "Spaghetto di Mezzanotte," a frittata with garlic, extra virgin olive oil, and chili pepper, enriched with béchamel sauce, dried fruit crumble, and corn flakes, along with croquettes, supplì, and other dishes perfect for street food. If your evening is all about a "big bite" and no frills, Puok is the place to keep on hand in your app, ideal for a delicious dinner while the looks and twists flow. The house smash burger is recommended. And for those seeking a creative twist, Ego Sushi Vomero showcases a Japanese-Neapolitan fusion: rolls, gyoza, and specialties where home-grown tradition meets the language of sushi.
