- 14. Cook for another 2–3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- 15. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly to room temperature.
- 16. Add milk, granulated sugar, flour, cornstarch, and egg yolks to a saucepan.
- 17. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
- 18. Once it starts to boil and becomes bubbly, remove from heat, add vanilla and stir.
- 19. Once the cream has completely cooled, add the whipped cream, which you prepared in a separate bowl with 1 teacup of milk.
- 20. Beat with a mixer until smooth.
- 21. Let the cream you prepared rest in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
- 22. Remove the cooled cake base from the center and place it on a serving plate.
- 23. Spread the filling cream evenly over the top.
- 24. Carefully place the top layer of the cake.
- 25. Finally, pour the prepared warm honey and almond mixture over the top layer and spread it evenly using a spatula.
