Recipe: Fried egg, garlic yogurt and paprika oil

Today, go cook yourself an egg following this very nice recipe from the Parisian canteen Echo: a fried egg cooked Turkish style, with an alternative to Alpro yogurt boosted with garlic, paprika oil and crispy kale chips for dipping… Breakfast, great moment!

Schedule

Garlic Yogurt: Blend the yogurt with the honey, confit garlic cloves, confit garlic oil, and the zest of half a lemon until smooth and creamy. Kale Chips: In a bowl, toss the kale leaves with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Arrange the kale leaves on a baking sheet and bake for 7 minutes at 180°C (350°F) using conventional heat.

Paprika oil: Simply mix paprika and neutral oil. Fried egg and mushrooms: In two hot pans, fry two eggs on one side and mushrooms on the other, both seasoned with paprika oil.

To serve: In two shallow bowls, place a generous spoonful of garlic yogurt, a fried egg, shiitake mushrooms, and a few kale chips. Add a slice of toasted bread cut in half and a few sprigs of dill. It's ready!

Even first thing in the morning, plant-based options are our friend! Whether you're an early bird or a sleep-in, Alpro's alternative ranges of milk, cream, and yogurt will give you a good reason to get out of bed... Get ready for some serious breakfasts!
