Snooze Eatery Names Amy Hom COO

Snooze Eatery has named Amy Hom chief operating officer, effective Sept. 28. With more than two decades of restaurant and hospitality experience, Hom has led operations for some of the industry’s most recognized brands, building strong teams, developing leaders and driving consistent execution across complex, multi-unit restaurant organizations.

“Amy understands that great restaurant operations start with great people and ultimately show up in the guest experience,”

At Snooze, Hom will lead restaurant operations and work closely with field leaders and teams across the organization to elevate hospitality, strengthen operational accountability and ensure restaurants have the tools and support to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Her appointment represents an intentional investment in experienced operational leadership as Snooze builds on its recent momentum and prepares for its next chapter.

“Amy understands that great restaurant operations start with great people and ultimately show up in the guest experience,” said Josh Kern, CEO of Snooze. “She knows how to create accountability and operational discipline while developing leaders and protecting what makes a brand special. That combination is incredibly important for Snooze. As we look ahead, Amy will help us raise the bar on hospitality and execution while staying true to the culture and experience our Snoozers and guests love.”

Hom joins Snooze after serving as chief operating officer of Barcelona Wine Bar, following leadership roles with Bluestone Lane, REEF, sweetgreen, Red Robin, Wolfgang Puck Catering and California Pizza Kitchen. She also co-founded LEAD, a community focused on leadership education, mentorship and connection and serves on the boards of Women in Restaurant Leadership, GLEAM Network and the Texas Restaurant Association. Her experience across a wide range of restaurant models and operating environments has shaped a leadership approach centered on strong field leadership, disciplined execution and developing high-performing teams.

“I’ve always believed that great restaurant operations start with great people,” said Hom. “What drew me to Snooze is the passion its teams have for hospitality and the guest experience. My focus will be on spending time in our restaurants, listening to our teams, developing our leaders and making sure they have what they need to deliver at a high level every day. Snooze has something special, and I’m excited to help build on it.”

Amy is passionate about developing the next generation of restaurant leaders. She co-founded LEAD, a community focused on leadership education, mentorship and connection, and serves on the boards of Women in Restaurant Leadership, GLEAM Network and the Texas Restaurant Association and a member of the Fast Casual Industry Council.
