Ham, chorizo, mushroom, and cheese pizza recipe
Here's a pizza where we went a little overboard with the toppings! Initially, due to lack of time, we wanted to buy a ready-made one, but once in the store, we found the pizzas on the shelves a bit "light"... 3 bacon bits fighting a duel with a handful of cheese: no thanks!
Ingredients · Servings 2
- 1 pizza dough (500 grams)
- 150 grams of cheese (here: half mozzarella and half Emmental)
- 200 grams of tomato coulis
- 1 large tomato (here: a Black Krim)
- 100 grams of canned button mushrooms
- 1 onion
- 20 fine chorizo rondelles
- 2 slices of cooked ham
- Olive oil
Method · 45 min
- Preheat the oven to 220°C. Finely chop the onion and sauté it in a pan with a little olive oil. When it begins to brown, add the drained button mushrooms to the pan and sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
- Spread the dough on a sheet of parchment paper, and slide it onto the baking tray.
- Rub olive oil over the surface of the dough.
- Spread a thin layer of tomato coulis on the dough, then arrange the whole tomato, cut into thin slices, on top.
- Thinly slice the ham and distribute the pieces over the pizza. Add the chorizo slices.
- Next, spread the pan-fried onion and mushroom mixture on top, and finish with the finely sliced cheese.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
