Coconut and strawberry ice cream

Coconut and strawberry ice cream

Coconut and strawberry ice cream, a very popular summer dessert with a perfect mix that will leave you speechless.

In summer, the first thing that comes to mind is ice cream. Given the heat these days, cooling off with one of these treats is the best thing there is. Often, however, due to work commitments or other responsibilities, it's not always easy to go out and enjoy it at an ice cream shop. That's why I thought about how to make it at home in just a few minutes, achieving the same result, if not even better. I thought about two of my favorite summer foods, and here's Coconut and Strawberry Ice Cream: all the freshness of coconut, with its refreshing and irresistible flavor, combined with the uniqueness of strawberries, perfect in any dessert you make. A fantastic combination that will be a hit with everyone, ensuring you'll always have a dessert ready at home whenever you need it. In a very original way, perhaps accompanied by fresh fruit in a stunning coconut cup, it's a delicacy that also looks beautiful on the table. So, let's quickly move on to the recipe below and you'll see how in no time you'll achieve a stunning result.

300 ml of fresh cream for desserts

Fresh fruit of your choice to taste

Making Coconut and Strawberry Ice Cream

First of all, to make this fresh and very delicious ice cream, first you have to open the coconut, with a corkscrew pierce two of the three holes located at one end of the nut of the latter, turn it over and let the liquid inside come out and set aside, then proceed with the hammer, give firm taps turning the coconut, in this way you will have two halves, then with a knife separate the pulp from the shell applying a certain pressure, and rinse them under running water, wash the strawberries by removing the stem and cut them into segments, pour the fruit in a separate bowl and transfer the coconut shells to the freezer.

Once this is done, take a saucepan and pour the liquid cream, milk, and strained coconut water into it. Add the sugar and let it dissolve completely. Add the grated coconut, coconut pulp, and strawberries. Stir with a whisk, turn off the heat, and let it cool. Once the ice cream mixture has cooled, pour it into a container and place it in the freezer. Stir the mixture every half hour for at least 2-3 hours, or until firm.

Serve them in coconut shells and decorate with fresh fruit of your choice, and there you have one of the most delicious ice creams to enjoy with your friends. Enjoy your meal!
