All the aroma of the Orient in delicious and delicious biscuits, with matcha tea dipping them this morning is special!

Matcha cookies: a truly special dip! This morning, it's more than just a predictable breakfast! I'll win you over with the scents of the Orient in these delicious and indulgent cookies!

Crispy to the bite, fragrant, and with that bright green color that makes them even more irresistible and delicious, these cookies are a game-changer for breakfast and beyond! Their unique, fresh, and enveloping flavor makes them perfect for dipping in a cup of milk or enjoying with a hot tea for a moment just for yourself. Trust us, they won't go unnoticed because, besides being delicious, they're also beautiful to look at.

Their secret? Matcha tea, a precious Japanese green tea powder that gives these cookies a refined, slightly herbaceous flavor, perfectly paired with the sweetness of the sugar and the delicacy of the butter. Plus, they're made with just a few ingredients, are easy to make, and bake in less than a quarter of an hour. What you'll get is a crumbly cookie with a delicate aroma and a flavor that will win over even those who've never tried matcha before.

Matcha Cookies: Fabulous, Crumbly, and Irresistible

The great thing is, you can customize them to your liking. For example, you could add a handful of white chocolate chips for an even more indulgent version, or a pinch of vanilla to enhance their aroma. Plus, they keep beautifully for days in a tin, although I bet they'll sell out sooner. Now all that's left is to put on your apron and make them with me. Let's get started!

Preparation time: 15 minutes Cooking time: 10-12 minutes in a preheated fan oven at 180 degrees.

Ingredients for matcha cookies

For about 40 biscuits

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of matcha tea
  • 10 g
  • 200 g of sugar
  • 180 g of butter
  • 360 g of
  • 00 flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda

How to make matcha cookies

In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until smooth. Then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Add the sifted matcha tea and mix until evenly distributed throughout the batter. Then, gradually incorporate the flour and baking soda, continuing to mix until the batter becomes smooth and compact. Now take small portions of the batter and shape them into walnut-sized balls. Flatten them slightly and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them well apart.

Bake the cookies in a preheated convection oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden. Once baked, let them cool completely on a wire rack to soften them, before storing them in a tin. Trust me, this time you'll really leave your friends speechless. Enjoy!
