Fluffy mug gingerbread

Fluffy mug gingerbread

Fluffy mug gingerbread is one of the most popular and quickest desserts. An ordinary quarter-liter mug is enough to measure the ingredients, and even a complete beginner can handle the dough preparation. Fragrant homemade gingerbread with jam and chocolate icing will remind you of weekend breakfasts at grandma's.

Ingredients · Servings 1 sheet
  • Dough:
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 baking powder for gingerbread
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • chopped nuts (can be omitted)
  • To complete:
  • chocolate icing
  • jam
  • grated coconut
  • To wipe and empty the sheet:
  • tuk
  • wholemeal flour
Method · 50 min
  1. Grease a deep baking tray and sprinkle with coarse flour or simply line the tray with baking paper. Preheat the oven to 170 °C.
  2. Pour the sifted flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, cocoa, baking powder into a bowl and mix. Add the milk, oil, eggs and mix until smooth. You can also add coarsely chopped nuts.
  3. Pour the dough onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes (based on your oven). You can check if the dough is cooked properly by inserting a skewer into the dough, and if it comes out dry, the gingerbread is ready.
  4. Let the finished gingerbread cool, spread it with jam, pour over chocolate icing and sprinkle with coconut.
  5. After the icing has set, cut the dessert into slices and serve.
