2 tea glasses of grape vinegar

2 tablespoons of rock salt (heaping)

2 teaspoons of powdered sugar

9 cloves of garlic

1 liter of boiling water (as much as the jars will hold)

Store the pickle jar at room temperature, away from direct sunlight.

How to Make Gherkin Pickles?

To make gherkin pickles, wash 1 kilogram of cucumbers thoroughly and lightly trim the stem ends.

Peel 9 cloves of garlic and distribute them evenly into each jar. Arrange the cucumbers neatly in the jars, placing some garlic cloves in between.

For each jar, combine 2 teacups of grape vinegar, 2 heaping tablespoons of rock salt, and 2 teaspoons of granulated sugar in a bowl and mix well.

Pour the vinegar mixture over the cucumbers. Finally, pour in enough boiling water from a jar to cover the cucumbers. Immediately close the jar tightly.

Turn the jar upside down. Let it sit like this for about 2 hours, then turn it right side up again. Store the prepared gherkins in a dark place for about a week.

You can consume your pickles after this time. After opening the gherkin pickles, you can store them in a cool place or in the refrigerator. Your gherkin pickles are ready! Enjoy!
