Mannik with kefir and cottage cheese

Mannik with kefir and cottage cheese

Mannik is a wonderful breakfast option. It's filling, delicious, and healthy, which is key to starting the day right. There are many different types of mannik, but I suggest making it with cottage cheese, which makes it even healthier. Mannik with kefir and cottage cheese is very similar to a cottage cheese casserole, but it's a bit denser. Serve mannik with sour cream, jam, honey, or condensed milk, and mannik is delicious on its own.

Ingredients

Cottage cheese - 300 g

Eggs - 3 pcs.

Sugar - 3/4 cup

Cooking process

Let's prepare the necessary ingredients for making cottage cheese manna with kefir in the oven.

Pour kefir or fermented baked milk over the semolina and leave for 30 minutes to allow the semolina to swell.

In a separate bowl, mix cottage cheese, eggs, vanilla and sugar.

Add baking powder, mix thoroughly.

Combine the curd mass and swollen semolina together.

Grease a baking pan with vegetable oil and sprinkle with semolina.

Place the dough into a pan and bake the kefir and cottage cheese manna for about 45 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees until golden brown.

Cool the manna with cottage cheese in the oven, then cut into portions. For my version, I topped the finished manna with cottage cheese and cream. Enjoy!
