Dutch salad “Boys in action”

You can prepare your favorite ham, cheese, and egg salad in no time and use it as a quick dinner or treat for guests. All you need is a few common ingredients, mayonnaise, and the right balance of lemon juice and pepper.

Ingredients · Servings 1 dose
  • 150 g of good quality pork ham
  • 150 g hard cheese (Eidam 30-45%)
  • 100 g mayonnaise
  • 3-4 eggs
  • lemon juice (to taste)
  • ground colored pepper (to taste)
  • salt (as needed)
Method · 30 min
  1. Pour enough water into a pot and bring it to a boil. Place the eggs in the boiling water and cook for 9–10 minutes until hard-boiled.
  2. Cool the boiled eggs with cold water and peel them.
  3. Cut the ham into small strips. Cut the cheese into small strips. Cut the eggs into thin crescents.
  4. Place the ham, cheese and eggs in a bowl. Add the mayonnaise and mix lightly.
  5. Season with lemon juice and ground colored pepper. Add salt if necessary.
  6. Serve with fresh bread.
