Curry green pepper rolls

Curry green pepper rolls

Ingredients · Servings 15 annosta
  • 4dl vehnäjauhoja
  • 2dl ruisjauhoja
  • 3dl vettä
  • 25g hiivaa
  • 2tl curryä
  • 1rkl kokonaisia viherpippureita
  • 1/2tl suolaa
  • 1rkl margariinia tai voita
Method · 1 h
  1. Vähän äijäisempiä sämpylöitä kuin tavallisesti: erinomaisia vahvan teen, oluen tai lihaliemen kanssa.
  2. Lämmitä vesi vähän kättä lämpöisemmäksi ja liota hiiva siihen. Lisää suola, curry ja viherpippurit. Sekoita mukaan keskenään sekoitetut jauhot vähän kerrallaan. Alusta taikina, lisää sula rasva alustamisen loppupuolella ja anna kohota. Leivo sämpylöitä ja anna kohota kunnolla pellillä. Paista 250 asteessa noin 15 minuuttia. Voitele lämpimällä vedellä. Anna jäähtyä liinan alla.

Guide

A little more cheesy than usual: excellent with strong tea, beer or meat broth.

Warm the water a little warmer than your hand and soak the yeast in it. Add salt, curry and green peppercorns. Mix in the mixed flours a little at a time. Knead the dough, add the melted fat towards the end of kneading and let rise. Bake the rolls and let rise properly on a baking sheet. Bake at 250 degrees for about 15 minutes. Grease with warm water. Let cool under a cloth.
