Chocolate cup with mascarpone

Chocolate cup with mascarpone

Chocolate sundae is a dessert loved by children and adults alike. It consists of several layers of whipped cream, chocolate and mascarpone. You can decorate it according to your taste - for example, with fruit, wafers or eggnog.

Ingredients · Servings 4
  • 300 ml whipping cream (min 33%)
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 0.5-1 packet of vanilla sugar (to taste)
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • To decorate according to taste:
  • eggnog
  • whipped cream
  • fruit
  • wafers
Method · 40 min
  1. Use a scraper to make a few shavings from the chocolate, which we will use for decoration at the end. Set them aside.
  2. Prepare the chocolate cream. Bring half of the cream to the boil. Break the rest of the chocolate into it, slowly melt it and leave to cool.
  3. Whip the other half of the cream into stiff peaks.
  4. Sweeten the mascarpone to taste, mix and lightly fold in the whipped cream.
  5. Divide the mascarpone cream into two halves. Stir about two tablespoons of chocolate cream into the first half of the cream and serve it in 4 prepared glasses.
  6. Pour the cooled chocolate cream over the light brown mascarpone cream in the glass. Leave a small amount of this cream in the saucepan.
  7. Spread the second half of the white mascarpone cream on top of the chocolate cream in the cup.
  8. Stretch the white cream in each cup with a fork dipped in the rest of the chocolate cream to create a marble cream.
  9. The surface of the cup can be decorated according to taste and mood, for example: sprinkle with chocolate shavings, pour over egg cognac, add whipped cream, fruit, wafers, etc.
