Garlic pickled in oil and salt

How to preserve homemade garlic for the winter? You can freeze it, dry it in a dryer, put the minced garlic in lard and salt, or put it in oil. All you need is some peeled garlic cloves, salt, and olive oil, and layer everything in a jar.

Ingredients · Servings 1
  • Amount of ingredients according to the size of the jar with a lid:
  • garlic
  • olive oil
  • salt
Method · 15 min
  1. Peel the garlic, divide it into individual cloves.
  2. Pour salt into a thoroughly washed jar, add a layer of garlic cloves, cover with salt, repeat several times until the jar is almost full, proceed so that the last layer is salt, then pour in oil. Store in the refrigerator.
  3. Sometimes the jar or bottle containing the pickled garlic needs to be shaken and placed back in the refrigerator.
