Homemade halva

Add agave syrup or honey to the mixture, along with caramel, which is then loosened with baking soda. This recipe is for true baking enthusiasts! Preparing homemade sesame halva:
Step 1 Place the sesame seeds in a pan and toast them gently.
Step 2 Place the toasted sesame seeds in a jar from a food processor or coffee grinder and grind into a paste.
Step 3 Place the ground sesame seeds in the bowl of a food processor. Add the vanilla paste and mix using the whisk attachment.

Step 4 Pour the sugar into a pan and add the water. Heat until the sugar begins to brown. Be careful not to stir the caramel! Then set the pan aside, add a teaspoon of baking soda, and stir. Caramel.
Step 5 Quickly pour the caramel mixture into the ground sesame seeds and mix at high speed.
Step 6: Distribute the caramel mixture evenly over the sesame mixture. Finally, add the agave syrup and mix.
Step 7: Transfer the halva mixture to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and form a log. Wrap the paper, pressing lightly, and refrigerate for a few hours. Cut into slices before serving.
If you want to enrich your halva, you can add dried fruit or cocoa.
