Marinated pork skewers

Marinated pork skewers

You can use pork shoulder, neck, or leg for this pork kebab. The marinade, which is left overnight, adds a strong flavor and tenderizes it. Then, all you have to do is skewer the pieces with bacon and onions and bake them in the oven.

Ingredients · Servings 4
  • 500 g pork shoulder
  • 150 g bacon in whole
  • 1 large onion
  • 0.5 teaspoon plain flour
  • Marinade:
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon marjoram
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
Method · 1 h 20 min
  1. First, we prepare a marinade of oil, lemon juice, mustard, crushed garlic, and herbs.
  2. Cut the shoulder into cubes and marinate it overnight.
  3. The next day, cut the onion and bacon into thinner cubes and skewer them alternately with the meat.
  4. Place in a baking dish and bake for about an hour at 170 °C, basting with the baking sauce.
  5. After baking, remove from the baking dish. Drain the baking, dust lightly with flour, add a little water to create a thicker sauce, and let it simmer.
  6. Roasted or boiled potatoes or french fries and a vegetable garnish are good as a side dish.
