Quick cookies with margarine

These quick cookies live up to their name. They're made with basic, affordable ingredients. The easy kneading and quick shaping are a plus, allowing you to quickly replenish your homemade baking supplies with minimal effort, should you wish.

Let's prepare the ingredients according to the list: flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, margarine, egg, baking powder, salt, cocoa.

Beat the granulated sugar with the egg – just whisk vigorously with a whisk or fork; you don’t need a mixer here.

Three cold blocks of margarine.

Add dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla sugar.

Knead the dough into a flexible shortcrust pastry. Tear off about a third of it and color it with cocoa powder.

The result is two types of dough: light and chocolate.

We stretch out the double-layered biscuit - tear off small, two-colored pieces and roll them into balls the size of a large cherry. Transfer them to a baking sheet, keeping a distance between each row. Bake the quick cookies with margarine for about 12-15 minutes at 190 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Don't forget to preheat the oven.

The first batch is ready. Cools instantly.

Serve homemade cookies to the table.

Enjoy your tea!
