Stuffed eggs

Stuffed eggs will decorate a platter at a party or a nice dinner. The mixture can be filled into a decorating bag, or filled into the egg whites with a spoon. A good mayonnaise is offered for seasoning and we choose whole grain bread and vegetables as a side dish.

Ingredients · Servings 12 pieces
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons grated horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon clarified butter
  • 3 teaspoons full-fat mustard
  • ketchup (for garnish)
  • salt (to taste)
Method · 30 min
  1. Cook the eggs in a pot of boiling water for 10 minutes. Then cool them quickly and peel them. Cut them lengthwise and scoop out the yolks into a bowl.
  2. Mix the yolks with butter, mustard, horseradish and salt.
  3. Fill a pastry bag with the resulting mixture and pipe into the egg whites. Garnish with ketchup.
