Crispy fried cheese

Crispy fried cheese

Unlike classic fried cheese, crispy fried cheese is made from grated cheese and eggs, and the mixture is slightly thickened with breadcrumbs to make it easy to shape into cheese patties. These are then simply wrapped in breadcrumbs and fried until golden brown.

Ingredients · Servings 2
  • 150 g hard cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • breadcrumbs
  • Further:
  • frying oil
Method · 25 min
  1. Finely grate the cheese and add the eggs. Mix well and thicken with breadcrumbs so that the mixture can be shaped.
  2. Gradually shape the mixture into balls, then flatten them into patties. Place them in the hot oil. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
  3. Serve with boiled potatoes, tartar sauce and vegetables.
