Spicy salmon
Delicious and tender salmon in a spicy caramelized crust tastes great with lemon, rice and peas. The sweet peas balance the spicy taste of the chili. Plus, this tasty dish is ready in no time.

- 4 salmon fillets
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons cane sugar
- 1 teaspoon coarsely ground chili
- 1 pinch of cumin
- salt
- coarsely ground pepper
- lemon slices for decoration
Method · 30 min
- Wash the fillets and dry them with a paper towel.
- Then brush them with olive oil on both sides.
- In a deep plate, mix the cane sugar with coarsely ground chili, cumin, salt, and pepper and coat the individual fillets in the mixture.
- Heat the remaining oil in a frying pan and sear the salmon on both sides. The cane sugar should caramelize nicely and create a savory crust.
- Serve the fish prepared in this way with a slice of lemon. A tasty side dish is boiled rice and green peas.
