The tapas bar in Barcelona where Bad Gyal and her boyfriend share fried calamari

We can say that once again, Bad Gyal has found the perfect way to make her relationship official in the most original (or rather, gastronomic) way. The singer and her boyfriend, Noah Brown, chose one of Barcelona's most distinctive taverns as their backdrop, enjoying a plate of fried calamari.

The location is none other than Bar Cantonada, a long-established bar located at Carrer d'Aragó, 437, in the heart of Barcelona's Eixample district. It's a place with the charm of an unpretentious tavern, where the food, prices, and atmosphere take center stage.

The couple's visit was no coincidence. The new campaign for the brand 'Dsquared2' was filmed in various locations around Barcelona, and this bar was one of them. And yes, between takes, there was time for something as traditional as sharing a plate of fried calamari.

The result? A campaign that blends fashion and everyday life and, incidentally, has allowed us to discover Bad Gyal and Noah Brown in a much more relaxed light, enjoying tapas and a bar with personality.

Located in one of the busiest areas of the Eixample district, Bar Cantonada functions as both a bar and restaurant, offering a menu that blends traditional Spanish cuisine with touches of oriental inspiration. Part of this character also comes from its owners, of Chinese origin, who have created a menu that combines recognizable Spanish dishes with nods to Asian cuisine.

And here's one of its biggest draws: the price. Their menu includes portions and tapas at very affordable prices, in one of those places where coffee still costs just one euro.

If you didn't already know, we've got a new stop on our list in Barcelona: Bar Cantonada. And, if possible, we'll share some fried calamari. Because if there's one thing this 'Dsquared2' campaign has taught us, it's that even a neighborhood bar can become, for a day, the coolest spot in town.
