This sheet pan meatloaf is the epitome of simple dinners: it's hearty, comforting, and reminiscent of classic weeknight comforters. The blend of three ground meats (beef, pork, and veal) creates a tender and flavorful dish, perfectly seasoned with a touch of ketchup, a sprinkle of plain breadcrumbs, and a drizzle of maple syrup for a truly local aroma. Spread directly on the sheet pan, the meatloaf cooks quickly, browns evenly, and slices easily. A comforting meal that will please everyone at the table and simplify your daily routine!
Also plan for:
15 ml (1 tbsp) of Worcestershire sauce
Steps
Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
In a large bowl, mix the minced meats with half the ketchup, the breadcrumbs, the egg, and the Worcestershire sauce.
In another bowl, mix the remaining ketchup with the maple syrup.
On a small baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spread the meat mixture, then brush it with the ketchup mixture.
Bake for 18 to 20 minutes.
Set the oven to the "broil" position. Continue cooking for 2 to 3 minutes, until the surface of the meatloaf is lightly caramelized.
