Popeyes Announces Opening Date For Liffey Valley Restaurant
Popeyes has announced the opening date of its newest Irish location in Dublin’s Liffey Valley Shopping Centre.
“As a destination where people come together to shop, dine and enjoy a day out, we’re committed to continually enhancing the customer experience through greater choice and new experiences.”
Popeyes has announced the opening date of its newest Irish location in Dublin’s Liffey Valley Shopping Centre.
The American quick-service restaurant (QSR) will open its third Irish location at 10am on Friday 21 August in Liffey Valley’s food court.
This second Dublin location will create approximately 55 new jobs for the area, and will likely be a popular addition to the shopping centre following the success of the Applegreen Midway location in Laois, and Dublin’s Blanchardstown Centre restaurant.
The franchise has further plans to open at Applegreen Naas Ball in Kildare and in Dundrum Town Centre in the coming months.
Popeyes’ debut Irish opening in Blanchardstown Centre saw a record-breaking opening event, with people queuing for 26 hours ahead of the official opening in the longest-ever queue for a Popeyes opening in the UK and Ireland.
To celebrate the opening of Ireland’s third location, the first three customers at Popeyes Liffey Valley will get free Chicken Sandwiches for a year.
The first 100 customers will also enjoy one free Chicken sandwich, and the first 50 customers will receive exclusive Popeyes merchandise.
The queue starts from the yellow entrance at 9am.
‘Can’t Wait’
Speaking ahead of the opening, the CEO of Popeyes UK and Ireland, Tom Crowley, said, “It’s been great to receive such an incredible welcome and amazing response from everyone in Ireland since opening our first restaurant in Blanchardstown in June, and we can’t wait to open our next exciting location in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre.
“As a lively social hub, we can’t wait to add to the atmosphere and bring the Popeyes iconic New Orleans flavour to their customers.”
Manager at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, Claire Findlay, also commented, saying, “We’re delighted to welcome Popeyes to Liffey Valley Shopping Centre as the latest addition to our food offering.
“As a destination where people come together to shop, dine and enjoy a day out, we’re committed to continually enhancing the customer experience through greater choice and new experiences.”
