Vegan waffles

Vegan waffles

1 tsp baking powder (e.g. cream of tartar)

Ingredients · Servings 12
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 600 ml Hafermilch
  • 3 Kill
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup
  • oil
  • Maple syrup
  • Icing sugar
  • fruit as desired
Method · 30 min
  1. For the waffle batter, mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Add the oat milk, oil, and maple syrup and whisk until you have a thick batter. Let it rest for 5 minutes and then stir vigorously again.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the waffle iron to a high setting and brush it with oil. Pour a sufficient amount of batter into the waffle iron and bake for about three minutes, depending on the appliance. Drizzle the waffles with maple syrup, garnish with fruit and powdered sugar, and serve.
